At Moose Ridge Woodland Chalet we go to great lengths to ensure our guests experience all the beauty and excitement that the Wells Gray Wilderness Park area has to offer.

Located on 10 private acres of pristine woodland, our chalet is the perfect home base from which to explore the well kept secret that is Wells Gray Park. The upstairs bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, queen sized beds, down duvets and private balconies. Downstairs is a full kitchen, dining nook, and living room. Two large sundecks are oriented to encourage "Al Fresco" dining; in the morning to greet the sunrise, and in the evening to watch the sun set behind neighbouring mountains. In winter, the Aurora Borealis is a wonder to behold from either location.

The chalet is built in a rustic style, but is fully equipped with all modern conveniences.
 

Built by a husband and wife team with an eye for detail, the chalet is located on property that lies within 3km of the park gates, and forms part of a wildlife migration corridor. The most abundant species passing through are Black Bear and Mule Deer in summer and of course the majestic Moose in winter.
 

These three virtues were foremost in our minds when we built our Woodland Chalet. If crowded resorts are to your liking you may not appreciate Moose Ridge Chalets. A 500 metre driveway meanders whimsically through the woods. When you peer from a window, or stand on your balcony, all you will see is a 360 degree panorama of trees and mountains; all you will hear is a great, natural silence; broken occasionally by the singing of birds , the bellow of a Moose, or the howl of a distant Wolf.
